Before coming to Mt. View in 2004 I was a teacher in Central Washington. During the last three school years I taught 2nd, 4th, and 4th/5th grades. These years of teaching have prepared me for the administrative role as principal. What a great opportunity I have had learning about the school while teaching and performing other leadership roles. I am privileged to have the opportunity of leading this wonderful school.  

Within my entire visionary plan for Mt. View I desire that we always strife for excellence in education.
Mt. View Christian School has a legacy of impacting the lives of students since 1980. In my four years of being at Mt. View I have discovered several wonderful qualities of the education that we provide.

We provide a Christian based curriculum that instructs students with a foundation for life. A biblical foundation that will remain in the hearts of children because they are still in there formidable years of their lives.

Another great feature of our school is that we offer small class sizes. This is something that is hard to come by in an area where schools are large and overcrowded. When I first came to Mt. View this is one of the things I found most enjoyable about the job. Because my classes were so small, I could devote individualized education to each student.

We have a great atmosphere of family and community at our school. Whenever we have school events there is always a great response of parents and volunteers to support what is happening. Numerous parents have testified that their children are so well cared for at Mt. View.
